Characterizes superficial structures to differentiate cysts, lipomas, hernias, or collections.
Purpose & focus
Define size, content, and vascularity of nodules or hernias on the abdominal wall, neck, limbs, or other areas.
Preparation
Usually no fasting; wear comfortable clothing that exposes the area. We confirm on WhatsApp.
How it’s performed
Focused scan with a high-frequency probe and Doppler when needed to assess flow.
Results & follow-up
Digital report and images the same day; printed copy available.
Common indications
- New palpable lumps or bumps
- Localized pain or swelling in soft tissues
- Suspected hernia or fluid collection
- Follow-up of previously identified lesions
