What it evaluates
Liver, gallbladder and bile ducts, pancreas, spleen, and kidneys. It helps detect inflammation, stones, dilatations, or masses.
Preparation
- Usually 6–8 hours fasting; we confirm on WhatsApp for your case.
- Take regular medications with a small sip of water unless your doctor says otherwise.
- Avoid fatty or carbonated foods beforehand.
During the exam
The radiologist applies gel and moves the transducer over the upper and lower abdomen. Duration: about 15–20 minutes.
Results
You receive digital PDF and images the same day. Printed copies available if needed.

- Can I bring someone? Yes.
- Can I exercise afterward? Yes, unless your doctor suggests otherwise.
